Eligibility

Who can apply?

You can apply for a resident parking permit if:

  • your main, permanent home is in a controlled parking zones (CPZ) in Hammersmith & Fulham
  • you are the registered keeper or main user of the vehicle, and it is registered, leased, or hired to your address in the borough
  • your driving licence is valid in the UK when you make your application.

Who can't apply?

You are not eligible for a resident permit if:

  • you live in a permit-free or car-free housing development
  • you have 3 or more unpaid parking fines
  • you own a property in the borough but live somewhere else most of the time
  • you already have a parking permit from another council
  • you live outside a controlled parking zone (e.g. Imperial Wharf).
  • your vehicle is not registered with the DVLA within 6 months of arriving in the UK.
  • you're a visitor, contractor, trader, developer, or live-in staff (like a nanny)
  • your vehicle is very large (over 2.28m high or seats more than 12 passengers).

How it works

All permits are digital, no paper needed.

Parking officers can check your permit using their system.
