Council tax energy rebate payment

Closing date for the applications is Wednesday 31 August 2022.

We can confirm that payments of £150 were made to all eligible direct debit accounts on the 31 May 2022.  We have identified some direct debit accounts which have not been paid and these include:

  • Bank account details which do not match the name of the persons liable to pay the council tax
  • Where the bank account details are paying council tax on an additional council tax account or have previously
  • Residents who have already had the £150 council tax rebate payment paid to them by another council and are not eligible to receive a payment from LBHF

If you fall into either of the first two categories, you may still be eligible  for the energy rebate payment and you should make an online application via the link below.

If you have previously tried to make an online application and you received an ERROR code 107 or similar, please submit your application again. We identified a software issue which we believe has now been resolved.

How to apply (non-direct debit payers)

Non-direct debit payers in bands A to D properties (or band E and in receipt of a disabled band reduction) should apply via the online portal managed by our third party provider, Ascendant.

Closing date for the applications is Wednesday 31 August 2022.
