Visitor permits

How they work and who can apply and what they allow you to do, including allowing your visitor access to restricted streets in Clean Air Neighbourhoods.

Apply for a visitor permit

Our visitor parking permits are managed by RingGo. If you don't already have an account, you must register with RingGo before you can apply for the permit.

Once you have registered, you can apply for a permit. You will need to provide proof of your home address as part of the application process.

  • If you are the council tax holder you will be asked to provide your council tax details.
  • If you already have a residents' parking permit we will need the permit number and vehicle registration number on the permit.
  • If you can't provide these we will ask for alternative evidence of your home address.

  • How long does it take to set up the new visitor permit online?

Usually, it only takes 30 minutes or so to complete the online forms to register and apply for a visitor permit. If the system can verify you as an H&F resident automatically, you will be able to use your permit straight away and book parking sessions for your visitors.

However, if the system can’t automatically identify you as a resident of H&F, you will be asked to upload some proofs of identity and these will be submitted to our parking team for verification. This may take about one week and we will contact you about your application status.

Apply by post or email

Alternatively you can apply by post or email using the paper application form.

You will need to print out and complete the application form and return it with scans of the required proofs to: H&F Direct, Pay and Park (AT), PO Box 60820, London W6 9UZ.

Or scan the printed and completed form and proofs and send to parkingpermits@lbhf.gov.uk.
