Free business advice and support helpline for local entrepreneurs and small businesses
Hammersmith & Fulham Council has launched a new and FREE 'Business Advice and Support Helpline' (BASH) to assist local entrepreneurs and small businesses who are looking to start-up or grow their businesses.
If you are looking for information, advice, training and practical support such as funding, mentoring, networking and office space etc to start, improve or grow your business, the business support helpline can help you.
The service will be operated by experienced advisers. Where relevant practical and beneficial follow up will be given including one-to-one support.

Edge of the Box business club
Run by the Chelsea FC Foundation, the Edge of the Box club has been created by our shared passion for enterprise and desire to innovate. The club is aimed at job seekers with an idea, start-ups and businesses who care about start-ups. Businesses going green
H&F Council announced a climate emergency in July 2019 and pledged to cut the borough’s carbon dioxide emissions to zero by 2030. A new pollution-free delivery service has been launched by Hammersmith & Fulham Council for businesses to get the final leg of their deliveries by an emissions-free cargo bike, removing hundreds of polluting delivery van journeys from our roads. Your business can help reduce air pollution in Hammersmith. Sign up to the new cycle delivery service 'Parcels Not Pollution', and they'll pedal your parcels to you for FREE same-day. The scheme is only available in Hammersmith.
You can find other services that help improve air quality in your area by using our directory of businesses that offer ultra-low emission deliveries and services in the councils Clean Air Villages in Fulham, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush Town Centres.
H&F Shared Electric Van Services
Hammersmith & Fulham Council has teamed up with Zipcar, Fulham Broadway BID, W12 LandSec, and the Park Royal Business Group (PRBG) to launch the first shared electric van service for small businesses in Fulham, Shepherds Bush, Old Oak and Park Royal. From May or June 2021 this will consist of four shared electric vans available for use across Hammersmith & Fulham.

Made in H&F
Made in H&F is a pilot project between the council and Hammersmith Bid and Kings Mall. It is a pop-up boutique store selling art, jewellery, home accessories, gifts, bags, scarves, urban wear, upcycled furniture, cards, millinery and lots more.

Petit Miracle Hub
The Petit Miracle Hub – a business incubation project – is on the lookout for entrepreneurs who need a helping hand to become the retailers of tomorrow.
Every new entrepreneur gets free retail space for three months, business workshops, access to networking events, peer support, broadband, meeting space and a buzzy, inspirational environment.

H&F Local Supply Chain Project
H&F Local Supply Chain is a free business support programme funded by the council which helps local companies to access and win work from major property developments in the borough. They can introduce you to buyers committed to buying more locally and using local traders. They can help improve your chances of winning the work through workshops and one-to-one advice.

Better Business for All (BBfA) is a collaboration between business and regulators to enable simpler and more consistent compliance with relevant regulation, ultimately leading to a safer and more profitable society.

London & Partners’ Business Growth Programme
London & Partners’ Business Growth programme is offering FREE impartial and tailored business advice and support to SMEs based in London.
The programme provides access to:
- A dedicated business growth advisor – Minimum 12 hours tailored advice and guidance
- Mentors – Access to experienced and commercially successful experts
- Local business support – Introduction to a full range of London & Partners’ professional service providers
- Focused workshops and events in London – Opportunity to learn from expert advisers and peers
- Supply chain development – Opportunity to collaborate with larger corporates with major operations in London seeking access to innovation by opening up supply chains.

London Business Hub
London Business Hub brings together the capital’s vast business support offer into a single online portal with an aim of helping businesses navigate the support that is right for them. The support is free and impartial and includes a huge range of resources from planning, starting and growing a business to overcoming business challenges and obstacles.
Business Hub support programmes include:
- Recover & Grow, a business support programme in partnership with the Business School (formally known as CASS), supporting 240 SME leaders.
- Property Advice Service, helping new and established SMEs to negotiate leases with free advice from property consultants.
- Peer Networks, providing 240 business with facilitated ‘action learning’ group sessions and 1:1 support
- Mayor’s Resilience Fund, a £1m package of innovation grants for SMEs as part of the anno/councillors-and-democracy/data-and-information/data-protection/privacy-policyunced London Resilience Fund
The Business Hub support offer includes:

- Investment Readiness Programme supporting early stage businesses to navigate the complex process of securing finance from external investors.

The Small Business Leadership Programme
- A programme supporting senior leaders to enhance their business’s resilience and recovery from the impact of COVID-19. It helps small and medium-sized businesses to develop their potential for future growth and productivity. The fully funded 10-week programme will be delivered online.
