The worn platform edges at Barons Court station are being replaced across the weekend of 19 and 20 July.
It means there will be no District line service on the lines from Earls Court to Ealing Broadway and to Richmond. There will also be no Piccadilly line trains through the station.
Work will start on the morning of Saturday 19 July – when limited replacement buses will operate – until 6am on Monday 21 July.
Old, worn sections of the current platform will be cut away and replaced with new resurfaced edges.
"The work has to be done when trains are not running," said TfL. "We recognise this can be disruptive."
Some build-up work will be done in the days leading up to the weekend.
