Finding time to learn something new can feel impossible when you're juggling work, family and your social schedule this summer.
That's why our Macbeth Centre in Hammersmith – home of adult learning – has launched 25 short courses starting from 2 June.
After listening to feedback from our learners, we've designed these summer courses specifically for busy residents who want to learn without the long-term commitment.
Located in Hammersmith, just off King Street, most courses will run for a few weeks, with some intensive one-day workshops available.
The programme caters to all interests and abilities, from creative workshops including block printing with linocut, mosaic glass applique and sand casting jewellery to digital skills classes and photography courses for beginners.
You can even brush up on your French, Spanish and Italian in our holiday language courses or learn the basics of British Sign Language (BSL).
Angelo Cappetta, who's taught at the Macbeth Centre for more than 20 years, explained why continuing education is important: "Many join our classes to keep their minds sharp, treating the brain like a muscle that needs regular exercise."
We've also expanded our health and wellbeing offerings with gentle exercise options.
