Depending on your circumstance you may be able to get free or discounted travel.

Older people and disabled people can apply for a freedom pass.

Walking and cycling are also great options on shorter journeys for those who are able to.

TfL's walking Tube map shows how long it takes to walk between Tube stations, and their expanded cycle hire scheme now also has 500 e-bikes for hire across 800 docking stations.
