Decision
Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF), pursuant to a decision made on 2 September by its Cabinet, has refused the neighbourhood area application.
Reasons for decision
The proposed area is assessed as being appropriate for designation as a Neighbourhood Area. However, the National Planning Practice Guidance states that the council must also be satisfied that the group making the Area application is capable of being designated as the Neighbourhood Forum for that area. At the time of determining the Neighbourhood Area application the council was unable to determine that the Steering Group was capable of meeting the conditions for Neighbourhood Forum designation (as set out in Section 61F of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and 38A of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004).
