Youngsters from 10 local primary schools gave speeches and debated each other when they took over Hammersmith Town Hall for the annual Children’s Parliament on the environment.
Young people passionate about politics and eager to represent their borough found out if they had been chosen to represent Hammersmith & Fulham at a ceremony this week.
Isabel Dedring, Mayor Boris Johnson’s Deputy Mayor for Transport, dropped into Hammersmith Town Hall earlier this month to discuss the Hammersmith Flyunder project with H&F Council Leader, Cllr Stephen Cowan and his team.
The council’s administration has led a series of renegotiations on property deals and so far secured more than £50 million in extra funds for the borough’s residents.
