Zak Chelli is back with a bang after he clinched the English light-heavyweight title at York Hall.
The Fulham prizefighter defeated Adam Hepple after the referee stopped the fight in the tenth and final round of the championship bout in east London after two devastating knockdowns from Chelli.
This was Chelli's first fight back since he lost his British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles to Callum Simpson last August.
"I have been out of the ring for nearly a year so it was great to be back in action and get my hands back on a title right away," said the 27-year-old.
"I am hungry for more belts now. I want a rematch with Callum Simpson. I have my father back in my corner again and I want to get my belts back too.
"If Callum doesn't want to fight me, I am happy to go up against Lewis Edmondson for the British light-heavyweight title. I want to fight the best there is around. My time is now."
Zak is trained by his father Zak Senior who was also a professional boxer.
