The Macbeth Centre welcomed Doctor Who celebrities and superfans to celebrate the BBC show's connection to Hammersmith & Fulham.
Special guests Colin Baker (Sixth Doctor) and Sophie Aldred (Ace) visited the Macbeth Centre on Saturday 14 June to explore the building's filming locations – specifically how it served as a backdrop for Series 25: Remembrance of the Daleks broadcast on the BBC in 1988.
Today, the Macbeth Centre – located just off King Street in Hammersmith – is better known as H&F Council's adult learning hub that offers more than 450 courses in everything from upholstery skills to learning Spanish. It's all part of the rich cultural history of Hammersmith & Fulham, which has hosted hundreds of film shoots over the years.
You can visit the Macbeth Centre yourself and try a class for free at our Open Day on Saturday 12 July. Sign up for a taster session here.

The Sixth Doctor and Ace jumped through time and space to reach the Macbeth Centre, revisiting their 1980s roles.
The actors appeared on separate seasons – Colin played the Doctor from 1984 to 1986, and Sophie was the teenage companion of Sylvester McCoy (Seventh Doctor) between 1987 to 1989.
Fans of all ages dressed as their favourite characters and toured the iconic filming locations – snapping photos alongside roaming Daleks and a TARDIS.
The famous faces were last spotted on the Macbeth Centre set in 2023 when they were welcomed back to re-enact iconic scenes in what is now the art room.

Sophie said: "I love coming back to the Macbeth Centre. I've spent more time at the centre now than when I was filming the show back in the Eighties."

Doctor Who in H&F
The Macbeth Centre wasn't the only setting in our borough that played a starring role in the long-running series throughout its 62-year history.
Doctor Who was principally filmed in Television Centre in White City. The show has also shot episodes starring the First and Second Doctors at Riverside Studios, which featured a Dalek emerge from nearby Hammersmith Bridge.
