Shepherds Bush

Bush Hall

310 Uxbridge Road, W12 7LJ

Uxbridge Road’s Bush Hall is an Edwardian dance hall turned iconic independent music venue in Shepherds Bush. The beautiful hall can seat up to 280 theatre-style or 200 at tables, with break out rooms, catering, equipment hire, and event management services available to suit your event.

Bush Theatre

7 Uxbridge Road, W12 8LJ

Originally a Victorian library, Bush Theatre has a range of spaces for hire suitable for groups of five to 250 that are all wheelchair accessible. These include:

  • Alen-Buckley Script Library: A bookshelf lined room with atmospheric lighting, perfect for everything from dinners to live music events.

  • Attic: Found at the top of the building with natural lighting and blackout blinds for performances. This space fits between 50 and 60 people.

  • Holloway Theatre: Bush Theatre’s largest space, popular for private showcases, filming, and wedding receptions.

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre

Lyric Square, King Street, W6 0QL

Located in the heart of Hammersmith the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has space to hire for filming, recording, workshops, film screenings, rehearsals and more.

With more than 15 spaces available including their Studio Theatre, a roof garden, rehearsal rooms and the Orr Room, there’s something to suit your every event need. 

  • Studio Theatre: Ideal for performances, events, meetings and conferences.

  • Rehearsal Room 1: This versatile room can host conferences for up to 100 and performances for up to 60 people.

  • Orr Room: With huge windows overlooking King Street this room is light and airy and can be made up as a theatre, horseshoe or boardroom set up.

The Quaker Meeting House

30-32 Bradmore Park Road, W6 0DT

Available to hire, the Meeting House is a non-hierarchical, non-denominational space filled throughout the day with lots of natural light. The space is available for a whole range of activities, from yoga and Pilates classes, through to memorials, weddings, dance troupes rehearsal space, community sessions and more.

Irish Cultural Centre (ICC)

5 Blacks Road, W6 9DT

The UK’s premiere centre for the promotion and welfare of Irish art and culture abroad, the ICC opened in 1995 and each year hosts a busy and exciting timetable of events.

The centre has five spaces available for hire, including the following:

  • The Main Hall: A versatile space that can seat 180 people, perfect for large gatherings and performances. The room has a state-of-the-art sound and lighting rig.

  • The Mezzanine: Ideal of training sessions or drinks receptions, this space overlooks St Paul’s Church and can accommodate up to 80 people.

  • The David Whiteley Library: A spacious and bright with AV facilities and room for 22 people boardroom style.

POSK Polish Centre

Found a stone’s throw from Ravenscourt Park tube station, POSK is home to two restaurants, a café, a library, a Polish bookstore and has four spaces available for hire.

These include:

  • Galeria Sztuki: A gallery space ideal for presenting contemporary and classic exhibitions, and glass doors to allow natural light in.

  • Jazz Café: A two levelled hall with a stage and seating including comfortable sofas and tables and chairs.

Sands End Arts & Community Centre

Peterborough Road, SW6 3EZ

Sands End Arts & Community Centre (SEACC) is a multi-award-winning building with three unique spaces available for hire, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 10pm.

  • Main Hall: Has acoustics that make it great for rehearsals and performances. The room can be dressed for formal and informal gatherings.

  • Meeting Room: Bright and airy, perfect for smaller groups and one to one sessions.

  • Lodge: SEACC’s quirky exhibition space. Spanning two floors with kitchen facilities, the space can be used for everything from exercise classes to corporate away days.

The centre’s café can also be hired either separately or in connection with main hall events.

The cost to hire each room is priced on application, charities and not-for-profit organisations receive preferential rates.

Fulham Palace

Bishops Avenue, SW6 6EA

More than 1,300 years old, Fulham Palace was once home to the Bishops of London. It is now an independent charity with 13 acres found next to the river Thames.

The site includes the second-oldest botanic garden in London, a café, a museum, and a natural play area. The Palace is open daily, is free to visit, and offers a variety of spaces available for hire including a modern garden marquee.
