Music fans can get rocking around the Christmas tree in Wandsworth Bridge Road this festive season as the Fulham street hosts a community music night full of good vibes.

The buzz begins on Friday 8 December at 6.30pm, as seven acts perform at seven different venues in a night dedicated to live music.

“We've got such a thriving local community in the Wandsworth Bridge Road area and there is a renewed vigour on the road with new shops opening all the time,” says Gary Fannin, founder of Wandsworth Bridge Road Association.

“Our events this December are designed for everyone to come along, have fun and discover what makes the Wandsworth Bridge Road unique.

“Our buzzing music night will be full of good vibes, whether you're visiting one venue or all seven to take in the variety of talent and food on show.

“It's always fantastic to see people coming together to enjoy the Wandsworth Bridge Road.”

Music Night – 8 December

West End performer Owen Bolton

An eclectic mix of musical genres will be a treat for the ears as seven venues host Wandsworth Bridge Road’s second music night.

Relax into an evening of tasty food and delicious drinks, accompanied by live music from some of London’s talented performers.

Smooth lounge sounds from local pianist John Snelson will kick off the evening from 6.30pm at Kenrick’s Wine Merchant.

From 7pm, head to independent café and restaurant Bonbon to hear a perfect pop performance from Bulgarian singer-songwriter Elenna, or pop into Bridge Baker for chilled jazz and vocals from brothers Aman and Gautam, who will be joined by talented pianist and saxophonist Jian Hui Mo.

More music is on the bill from 7.30pm as Indian street food restaurant Chai Thali hosts saxophonist Evgeny Minev for a session of soft soul and jazz beats.

If blues and reggae are your playlist favourites, check out singer-songwriter and guitarist Tim Hain’s unique blend of the two – dubbed ‘bleggae’ – at Thai hot spot Thaiphoon.

Or enjoy an acoustic mix of covers and original sounds from West End performer Owen Bolton at Carbon Kopi, before grabbing a glass of wine and settling in for an indie-pop session from Ericka Janes at Fulham Wine Bar & Kitchen.

The event follows the debut Wandsworth Bridge Road music weekend in September, which saw five venues host six performers over two nights.
