Five fantastic venues in Wandsworth Bridge Road will host six of London’s premier performers from indie pop artist, Chris Harper, to afro jazz saxophonist Yebga.

“We are committed to creating a thriving, bustling, welcoming destination high street at the heart of the community,” said Natalie Lindsay, a member of the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association (WBRA).

“The aim of this event is to increase the number of visitors which, in turn, increases business trading for all the local shops and restaurants.

“We encourage everyone to visit and spend time on our beautiful tree-lined road.”

So don’t miss out, check out the full schedule and book your table.

Beats and beets

Kick off your weekend at Kenrick’s Wine Merchant for chill cocktail lounge sounds by pianist John Snelson from 6.30pm.

Then grab some tacos at Carbon Kopi with a side of soul music by singer songwriter, Ocean, from 7.30pm.

"We're delighted to participate in this live music and food event for the very first time," said the coffee shop's owner, Chris Brittan.

"It's a wonderful idea to bring all the local businesses and locals together and enjoy a couple of nights of music, fun, good food and drinks."

Or why not try Indian street food at Chai Thali accompanied by Tim Hain’s mash-up of blues and reggae, dubbed ‘bleggae’? If you love Tim’s first performance, catch him again on Saturday and get some delicious Thai food at Thaiphoon from 7.45pm.

Local brothers Aman and Gautam are performing a double bill of jazz, sax and vocals at Bridge Baker on both evenings from 7pm.
