Hammersmith & Fulham’s newest independent estate agency, The Property Moms, are looking to give back to the community.
The female founded company has been launched by H&F residents and American ex-pats Celine Brill and Robbin Pierce who met when volunteering at their children’s school, St Stephen’s Primary School in Shepherds Bush.
Passionate about supporting their local community – and experienced in real estate – the pair launched The Property Moms with a business model focused on giving back. With each job, a percentage of their fees are donated to a local cause, chosen by their client.
Currently, the two are working closely with the Friends of St Stephen’s School (FOSS), which supports with school trips, the school’s library and teaching assistants.
Carrie Gregory-Hood, parent of two children at St Stephen’s, said: “The Property Moms’ partnership with FOSS, is hugely important. They’re generously sponsoring three events this year. This ongoing commitment is something that’s never been done before and shows how much they care.
“The money raised by FOSS is vital. It does so much, including help funding the school’s resident scientist, a specialist Spanish teacher and new playground equipment. Without the school community coming together to help raise funds, our children and our school community would not have access to all these amazing resources.”
Newer clients have chosen different charities to support, including Mama Haven and The Green Project Shepherds Bush.
As the business grows, the entrepreneurial duo hope their charitable reach will extend even more widely across the borough.
Decades of experience
Between them, Celine and Robbin have decades of experience.
“I’ve always loved property. I worked in architecture and sold property in the States, and my first job in London was at an independent agency,” said Celine, who moved across the pond 13 years ago.
Co-founder Robbin, who has lived in H&F for more than 20 years, has a background in property development and sales. The pair talked about starting a unique type of estate agency together for several years before taking the plunge.
“There’s very few areas that have what H&F has,” said Celine.
“Between the parks, the transport, the schools, and the amenities, we have a lot going on.”
The pair are on hand to answer any question about renting, buying, planning permission, contractors, or how to add value to your home.
“Whether you’re a first-time buyer, students looking to rent, a family looking for their forever home or maybe a transitional home, we can help you realise your vision,” explained Robbin.
