Then how about a FREE discount gym card that gives you half-price on some activities, free swimming for young children, advanced booking and access to courses?
The new Hammersmith & Fulham Residents’ Pay and Play Card is available to eligible borough residents and can be used in three council-run fitness centres.
“With this new residents’ membership card, we’re giving people more opportunity to get fit in the new year,” said Cllr Wesley Harcourt, H&F Cabinet Member for Environment.
“Together with newly-improved facilities across H&F, these memberships are likely to be really popular, so we’d urge residents to register fast.”
Better facilities
Hammersmith & Fulham Council recently invested in improvements at its leisure centres across the borough.
Lillie Road Fitness Centre has recently reopened following the refurbishment that includes improvements to the gym, studios and changing areas.
The refurbishment and new membership offer became possible after H&F Council renewed its agreement in summer 2019 with the charitable social enterprise GLL to run the three centres.
What does it offer?
The H&F Residents’ Pay and Play Card is a free annual membership open to borough residents and can be used in any of GLL’s Better leisure centres in Hammersmith & Fulham, including: the Hammersmith Fitness and Squash Centre, Lillie Road Fitness Centre in Fulham and the Phoenix Fitness Centre and Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool in White City.
The benefits include:
- up to 50 per cent discount off activity prices
- FREE swimming for children aged under eight at specified times
- young people aged eight to 15 years old swim for £1 ONLY at specified times
- access to a wide range of activities
- access to courses and other member only activities and facilities
- easy online booking and payment
- up to 14 days advance online booking and seven days advance telephone booking.
