Lady Margaret pupils put in another strong GCSE performance this year.
The impressive results came out of a relatively new exam system, which began being phased in last year.
Grades are awarded from nine to one. With nine, eight and seven ranging from what would have been A* to A in the old system, and four being similar to a C.
Eighty-eight per cent of grades, including English and maths, were marked four or above.
“These are excellent results and we are so proud of all girls in Year 11,” said Elizabeth Stevenson, headteacher of the Parsons Green school.
“Congratulations to everyone in Year 11. It is fantastic to see how well they have done, particularly in a year of such huge change.
“Thank you to parents for their support and encouragement and to staff for their hard work and commitment to the girls.”
If your child will be in Year 6 of primary school in September 2018, they will be moving on to secondary school in September 2019. Find information and advice on applying for secondary school places.
