An exhibition of the proposals to build a new cinema, redevelop Hammersmith Town Hall, provide new genuinely affordable homes and rejuvenate the western end of King Street will be unveiled this week.

Please come and have a look. The time and dates of the drop-in exhibition at the Town Hall are:

  • Friday 20 April 2018 from 4pm to 8pm
  • Saturday 21 April 2018 from 10am to 2pm

Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, one of the world’s leading architecture firms, have been commissioned to work up a new scheme.

Previously, H&F Council have held two consultation events in November 2017 and February 2018.

The events this April will offer you the opportunity to view the designs that form the basis of the planning application which we anticipate will be submitted in late April.

The plans can also be seen on the council’s website at www.lbhf.gov.uk/kingstreet.

H&F Council is also working with A2Dominion who are an affordable housing provider. They have worked with the Residents’ Town Hall Development Commission, made up of local people who have taken an active interest in the previous Town Hall schemes, to develop the plans.

There will be a further opportunity to make your views known once the planning application is submitted as part of the Local Planning Authority’s formal consultation.

To register your interest, please email NewTownHallScheme@lbhf.gov.uk or call 020 8753 5892 and leave your details.
