GeoBus ‘The Science of Space’ workshop
Wednesday 27th July, 10.30am - 11.15am
Join Geobus for an amazing online workshop all about Space Science! This session is suitable for KS2 children and looks at some of the different ways in which scientists study space, without actually going there! (GeoBus is an outreach programme run out of the Earth Science department of UCL).

GeoBus ‘Volcanoes and Earthquakes’ workshop
Thursday 25th August, 10.30am - 11.15am
Join Geobus for an awesome workshop all about Earthquakes and Volcanoes! This workshop introduces students to the structure of earth, where earthquakes happen and why, as well as the dangers of earthquakes. It also covers where and why volcanoes happen by looking at the structure of the Earth as well as tectonic plates.
GeoBus is an outreach programme run out of the Earth Science department of UCL.

Summer Reading Challenge 2022: Gadgeteers
The Summer Reading Challenge, presented by The Reading Agency, is delivered in partnership with public libraries and funded by Arts Council England. The Challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays, providing lots of fun as well as helping to prevent the summer reading ‘dip’.
Get ready for Gadgeteers, arriving online and in your local library this summer.

Hammersmith library reading groups meet on the last Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 7pm, and on the second Saturday of every month from 10.30am to 12 noon.
