Some housing estates in Hammersmith & Fulham have CCTV. These camera systems are managed and viewed by the estate support and security services based in the reception area of the following four estates:
- Poynter House reception on Edward Woods Estate
- Woodford Court on Charecroft Estate
- Desborough and Lickey House on West Kensington Estate
- Herbert Morrison on Clem Attlee Estate
Working in partnership with the police, the council's anti-social behaviour team and LET (law enforcement team), we work hard to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour on these estates.
Our duties include:
- Monitoring blocks and estate grounds using CCTV
- Carrying out physical block checks and patrolling the estate grounds
- Operating the controlled-access systems across these estates
- Providing intelligence to our colleagues in the anti-social behaviour team as well as to the police
- Acting as an information and local contact point for residents and visitors
- In-depth weekly fire safety inspections
- Reporting repairs for residents and following up appointments with our contractors
