I've been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2020, with previous experience of caring for children of various ages as a nanny and in a nursery setting.

I actively attend libraries, museums and playgrounds.

Firstly, I am a mother of two, to a 16 year old daughter who is fully DBS checked and a 2-year-old son. I am Ofsted registered and Montessori qualified.

I have a warming home with a garden, allowing me to provide indoor and outdoor learning. I make sure the safety and wellbeing of all children is paramount and I have completed all the relevant courses in first aid paediatric, safeguarding, food hygiene and health and safety.

I have been caring for children for over 40 years. As well as being a registered childminder I have worked in a nursery. I have also run parent and toddler groups through the Pre School Learning Alliance.

I have worked with children who have different strengths, from different backgrounds and where English is not their first language.

I value the individuality that each child brings, recognising that every child learns, grows and develops in their own way.

I believe that young children are educated through fun and play based educational activities. I understand providing a positive and safe environment is imperative and is vital in your decision when looking for a childminder. I encourage children to continue learning where self-respect and determination are supported, nurtured and enhanced.

Funded childcare schemes

I have been a childminder since 2003 and provide a home from home setting working closely with parents and carers. I have toys for all age groups as well as art and craft activities. I also attend many local playgroups, the local park and libraries with the children.

I live in a 2 bedroom semi detached house in Parsons Green with my husband, and our teenage son. We also have a tortoise called Dotty who is very friendly.

I am up to date with all the relevant training and attend training when needed. I am also part of a quality childminding group, who meet up regularly.
