About
Firstly, I am a mother of two, to a 16 year old daughter who is fully DBS checked and a 2-year-old son. I am Ofsted registered and Montessori qualified.
I have a warming home with a garden, allowing me to provide indoor and outdoor learning. I make sure the safety and wellbeing of all children is paramount and I have completed all the relevant courses in first aid paediatric, safeguarding, food hygiene and health and safety.
I provide an inclusive environment, supporting children of all abilities through a range of resources such as messy play, arts and crafts, construction, life skills, termly projects, celebrating cultures and traditions, visits to local play groups, parks and baking. Children learn through their hands and so I provide them with a variety of experiences to support them to understand how and why things work, and allows them to further their own inquisitive minds.
As a childminder I believe in modelling positive behaviour, supporting each child's individual learning journey, celebrating individual achievements and providing an inclusive environment to support each child's development.
