Fulham's town centre is famous for its wealth of specialist and independent shops complemented by high street stores.

The Chelsea Village complex, part of Chelsea Football Club, is just a stone's throw from the Broadway, while the Fulham island development adds a 'café culture' flavour to the town centre.

North End Road Market is one of the oldest street markets in London.

In 2014, the North End Road Action Group (NERAG) was created to work with businesses, residents, community groups and the council to improve the area. Our special pedestrianized, one-day street markets attract more than 10,000 shoppers to the area.

Shepherds Bush Market boasts more than 300 stalls, and showcases an assortment of exotic and ethnic produce, dress and furnishing fabrics, exceptional herbs and spices, along with traditional fruit and vegetables.

The neighbouring West12 shopping centre provides Shepherds Bush with a good range of local shopping facilities and unusual pop-up retail incubators, such as Furnish and Petit Miracles.

The town centre's leisure economy is boosted by its excellent live music venues, the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire and Bush Hall. The award-winning Bush Theatre is popular, and both the Westfield London shopping centre and West12 centres have multiplex Vue cinemas.
