More information about getting the vaccine

The first mass vaccination centre in H&F opened at the Novotel hotel in Hammersmith on Monday 15 March.

The Novotel London West – located between Hammersmith Road and Talgarth Road – is a short walk from Hammersmith tube and bus stations. It is offering life-saving vaccinations to fight Covid every week.

The NHS is now inviting local residents aged 18 and over and people with long term health conditions to receive their jabs. If you've been invited to book because you're turning 18 soon, please book a date for your first dose vaccination that is on or after your 18th birthday.

The jabs are proven to be safe and effective in protecting you, your family, friends and colleagues against Covid.

You can now get a vaccination at Novotel London West without booking an appointment if you're in the invited groups. Find out about walk-in availability.

If you’re not in the invited groups, please wait until the NHS gets to you.

If you have any questions about the vaccine, getting to the vaccine centre or facilities at the centre please contact the H&F CAN helpline on Freephone 0800 145 6095, open 8am to 6pm seven days a week, or email: can@lbhf.gov.uk

Turning the tide on Covid

The new vaccination centre at the Novotel London West is run by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, in partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

“I’m really glad we were able to support the NHS by negotiating the use of the Novotel as a new vaccination centre,” said H&F Leader, Cllr Stephen Cowan.

“Its central Hammersmith location is perfect and the extra capacity it offers means we’re able to get many more people vaccinated and to do so with greater speed.

“This is how we’re turning the tide on Covid-19. The vaccines are the safest way of making sure local people are protected from this dreadful illness and we can get our economy back up to strength and move our lives forward.”

In addition to the mass vaccination centre at the Novotel, local GPs are continuing to invite their patients to three other local vaccination sites within the borough. Please wait for an invitation first before attending and booking at one of these.
