The popular Bishops Park water play area and urban beach are free for residents and visitors to use

Children in Hammersmith & Fulham can make a real splash as its paddling pool and water jets open in parks this weekend.

The Ravenscourt Park paddling pool is always buzzing on sunny days and the splash play area in Bishops Park, like the paddling pool, is right next to the sand play area, so it’s like having a beach in the city.

H&F Council’s Green Flag-winning Ravenscourt Park and Bishops Park are both home to these popular water facilities that, unlike many others in London, are FREE for residents and visitors to use.

  • The water is treated and recycled with a pump to keep it clean.
  • Ravenscourt Park paddling pool recently underwent a £25,000 refurbishment, including repairs to the surface and pipework.

Last year, 11 of H&F’s parks and green spaces were awarded Green Flag status by Keep Britain Tidy, marking them as among the highest quality parks in the country.
