Local motorcyclists and scooter riders are invited to a rider skills safety day

Sign up for a BikeSafe rider skills day to boost your biking ability and improve your safety on the road. Run in partnership with the Metropolitan Police Service, these courses offer expert advice andnguidance on everything from choosing the right gear and spotting hazards to making yourself visible. They include an observed ride on urban and rural roads with police motorcyclists.

Attendance is free to anyone who lives, works or studies in the borough. You can still attend a session if none of these apply but there will be a charge.

Whether you are an experienced rider or a novice looking for advice, maybe you are riding on ‘L’ plates and a seeking a pre-test assessment, this is a really enjoyable and useful day out. There’s no pass or fail, just friendly advice.
