Bishops Park

Come and cool off this summer! The splash pad is open every day from 10am to 6pm until 31 August 2025. You'll find it in the heart of Bishops Park, between the lake and the skate bowl.

Bishops Park is one of the borough's most popular and well-used parks.

It is one of two parks in the borough that are listed on the English Heritage's register of parks and gardens of special historic interest. It is Grade II listed and has lots of facilities for park users to enjoy. Bishops Park is a Green Flag site.

Visiting the park

Bishops Park is served by several public transport routes:

  • Bus numbers 14, 22, 74, 220, 424, 430, DL-4 and DL-5 stop at Putney Bridge which is next to the park
  • Putney Bridge tube station (District line) is a 7-minute walk
  • Putney train station (National Rail) is a 15-minute walk.

Bishops Park is host to a number of large and small scale events such as Parkrun, Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race Fanzone, and charity fun runs and walks.

This park is covered by our public spaces protection orders (PSPOs) and open spaces byelaws.

Parking on match days

When Fulham Football Club are playing at Craven Cottage, special parking restrictions apply in zones T, X and Y.

Dates of matches are displayed on pay and display machines, on controlled zone entry signs and on our match day parking at Craven Cottage webpage.
