There are six Regulation 7 areas in the borough. In these areas the display of estate agent boards is not permitted unless advertisement consent has been granted by the council. The council will be carrying out regular inspections of these areas to ensure no estate agent boards are being displayed. 2015 Regulation 7 Direction
The Direction came into force on 21 March 2015 for a period of 10 years. It affects the whole of the Hammersmith Grove conservation area, parts of the Avonmore and Olympia and Gunter Estate conservation areas and Harwood Road. Full details of all the affected properties within these areas is given below.

This covers part of the Olympia & Avonmore Conservation Area and includes:

- Matheson Road (1-45 odds, 2-34 evens)
- Mornington Avenue (1-35 odds, 10-24 evens, plus Mornington Avenue Mansions and Whiteley’s Cottages)
- North End Crescent (26-32 evens)
- Stanwick Road (2-20 evens, 1-31 odds, including 1a, plus 32-61 Stanwick Mansions)

2012 Regulation 7 Direction
This 7 Direction covers in parts of Barons Court, Lakeside/Sinclair/Blythe Road and Brook Green Conservation Areas and came into force on 16 April 2012 for a period of 10 years. The display of estate agent boards in these areas will then no longer be allowed unless advertisement consent has been granted by the council.
