A group of local artists have taken over an empty shop in the Fulham Broadway shopping centre to showcase an array of striking artworks.
From colourful abstract art to serene watercolours and imaginative ceramics, the pop-up gallery is packed with more than 130 unique artworks – all created locally.
Open to everyone and free, the gallery features the work of 34 artists from the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters (SoFAP).
Connecting with the local community is top of the list for the society's chair Rowena Vaughan, who explains the exhibition means visitors can discover more about the area's vibrant art scene.
"We are excited to bring our artists' works to the heart of Fulham Broadway," says Rowena. "This pop-up gallery allows us to connect with the community in a fresh and accessible way, offering art lovers the chance to appreciate and acquire original pieces in a convenient setting."
On display
Scenes of Bishops Park, Fulham Palace and the riverside in Hammersmith are just some of the much-loved local spots that feature in the exhibition.
Each artist is displaying up to five pieces of their work, with paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces sitting alongside handcrafted pottery and three-dimensional art.

Original artist-designed greeting cards and gifts are also among the artworks, which are for sale at the gallery on the first floor of Fulham Broadway shopping centre in Fulham Road.
Having relaunched on 26 April with new artworks, the exhibition is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1-7pm and runs until June.
For art lovers wanting a behind-the-scenes tour of the gallery from some of the featured artists, a ticketed private view event will take place on Saturday 3 May from 6.30-10pm.

The exhibition at Fulham Broadway is just one of the regular events organised by SoFAP, which was founded in 1952.
Other upcoming exhibitions include a pop-up art display at Bishops Park café from 22-24 June, while workshops including Chinese calligraphy, oil painting and gel plate printing are taking place throughout 2025.
