Pharmacies across Hammersmith & Fulham are vaccinating thousands of local residents a month.

Avni Patel, pharmacist at the Marcus Jones Pharmacy in Old Oak Common Lane, said: “Your local pharmacy is a great place to walk in and get your first or second vaccination. It’s quick and easy – you can do it while picking up a prescription or other items. And families can get vaccinated together.”

If you’re unsure about getting a vaccine, you can ask your local pharmacist or GP for their advice and discuss your medical history.

Cllr Ben Coleman, H&F Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, said: “A big thank you to our pharmacies for protecting H&F residents against Covid. They’re ideal for getting your jabs as they’re in the heart of the community.

“Sadly, NHS England has decided centrally not to approve any more pharmacies as vaccination hubs. We’d like them to change their mind and make it quicker and easier for people to get vaccinated close to home.”

Current NHS guidance requires a minimum of eight weeks between doses.

You don’t need to register with a GP to be vaccinated.
