Hundreds of our more elderly neighbours and health workers began to receive the Covid vaccine this week. They attended one of our medical practices to get the first of the immunisation doses before they return after three weeks for the second.
The rollout of the vaccine will continue over the coming months in line with the Government’s priority list.
H&F’s Director of Public Health, Dr Nicola Lang, has prepared a message (pdf 68KB) about the vaccine which includes reassuring information on its safety and effectiveness as well providing answers to questions arising from some of the online rumours about it.
