It may have been wet but it didn’t stop many youngsters coming to enjoy the massive variety of activities at this year’s Playday.

The free event organised every year by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, included arts and crafts, inflatable basketball, boxing, football, circus skills and more.

The event on Wednesday 2 August was just one of 1,400 free and low-cost activities which are part of Summer in the City, our annual programme of holiday fun.

“There’s so much happening for families in Hammersmith & Fulham and our annual Playday is just one example,” said Cllr Sue Macmillan, H&F Cabinet Member for Children and Education.

“There’s a massive variety of activities to enjoy this summer. Why not have a look online and take your pick from the many more events still to come?”

They include the popular play-in a week which starts at the Bush Theatre on Monday.
