Tyber Cranstoun at North End Road traffic-free market
Residents will be treated to a mini-music festival at next week’s North End Road Spring Market.
Once again, it will be traffic-free and this year will see more groups and solo singers taking part than ever before. More than 20 acts have already signed up and others are eager to join them on Saturday 29 April.
“Our traffic-free markets keep getting better and better and music fans are going to love our latest event,” said Jo Rowlands, H&F Director of Regeneration, Planning and Housing.
“This great line-up is shows how popular our traffic-free events are – for residents, traders and entertainers alike.”
The line-up
The singers and musicians include the soulful Dolly Mavies, the upbeat ska singer Tyber Cranstoun and the lively ZHL String Ensemble. The acts will be performing their own material as well as much-loved covers of the likes of Ed Sheeran, Adele and Fleetwood Mac.
There will be seven performance areas. Whether you’re a fan of rock, pop, blues, classical, or funk, you’re guaranteed to find something for you.
Even more entertainment
If the huge array of musical talent is not enough, they’ll also be a one-man band, stilt-walkers, a juggler and an acrobat wandering among the crowd.
Eat, drink and shop
More than 150 stalls will be selling a massive array of things to buy including clothes, homeware, artwork and other gifts.
The event is also great for foodies with tasty creations from across the world – giving you the chance to try something new or find one of your favourite dishes.
