Cityread London 2018 event: Swinging London

Tuesday 15 May, 6pm at Hammersmith Library

The Sixties saw London cast off the gloom of the post-war years and transform into the bright, swinging centre of style and culture. This illustrated timeline, presented by Nick Dobson, provides a reminder of that groovy, swinging decade and reveals a London quite different from our capital today.

This event is part of Cityread London, the annual celebration of literature in the capital.

Free event, to book a place email: david.harland@lbhf.gov.uk or call Hammersmith Library 020 8753 3820

We also have regular events and clubs for adults in our libraries which take place every week or every month.
