A former school site which offers an opportunity to provide much needed new housing.
New homes
Early feasibility studies indicate the capacity for approximately 100 new homes on the site of which at least 50% will be affordable. 60% of the new affordable homes will be for social rent, and 40% shared ownership.
Current position
Following on from phase 2 of the public consultation further work is being carried out on the designs for this development.

Next steps
- Early 2025: Third round of consultation: detailed designs and how feedback has helped to shape them.
- Spring 2025: Target date to submit a planning application.
- Winter 2025: Planning Committee (target date).
- Spring 2027: Construction starts (target date, subject to planning approval).
