Overview
The proposed development site adjacent to The Grange residential block is currently occupied by dilapidated garages and provides an opportunity for the delivery of high-quality new homes in the borough.
Experienced architects PRP have been appointed to deliver a highly sustainable development. As the developer of this project, Hammersmith & Fulham Council will retain the ownership of the site and will manage all affordable homes, along with the maintenance of communal and external areas.
The Residents' Steering Group and wider community have co-produced the designs for the new homes and green space.

New homes
Our proposals will deliver:
- 8 new three and four-bedroom homes, all of which will be affordable
- 2 homes will be available for social rent, and 6 for shared ownership
- an improved green space between the new development and The Grange
- a well-designed building, four storeys in height
- new and more secure pram sheds, for existing residents of The Grange
- a new pedestrian and vehicle gate to help ensure the space at the rear of The Grange is safe and secure.
Detailed designs
We have submitted the planning application for this site, which we have been working on with residents.
The project team are grateful to all the residents who took part in shaping the design of the new homes from its early concept to the planning application stage.
Council Planning Officers will review the planning application and will recommend approval or refusal of the plans. The final decision will be made by councillors on the Planning Committee.

Next steps
Autumn 2025: Planning Committee (target date).
