Childminder

The children in my setting learn and play using the activities I plan and resources I provide. I have a garden which I set up for the children where they can play with sand and water. I also provide:

  • interactive toys, small world toys
  • lots of books to suit all stages
  • playdough
  • drawing
  • dressing up
  • opportunities to interact with each other

One of my strong points is communication, and I encourage the children to express themselves vocally and using body language and facial expressions.

Childminder

I offer a safe, secure, non-smoking, and nurturing environment. The children benefit from garden space with resources to help stimulate them as well as an indoor play area. The day-to-day activities consist of adult lead and child-initiated (free play), appropriate for their age. To name a few, there is sand, water play, construction, cookery, story-time, nursery rhyme songs, art and craft, and gardening. Children learn to care for two goldfish.
