About us
Miss Daisy's aim was to create a village nursery school in the heart of London.
Miss Daisy's Brook Green nursery school, offers a nurturing and secure environment and promotes imaginative play and independent learning. Play is an important part of our Miss Daisy's Brook Green curriculum, and the children benefit from free-flow access to our private playground for gardening, explorative play and outdoor learning. The children regularly visit the beautiful Loris Gardens and Brook Green itself, so get to experience their local community and develop their physical skills, whist gaining an understanding of safety outside of the nursery school.
There is an excellent child adult ratio to ensure the children are getting the best possible care at this important stage of their learning journey. Key to the ethos at Miss Daisy's is that the children actively lead their own development with no pressure on them in any way. From the day a new child starts at Miss Daisy's, the school is geared up towards gentle preparation for the next step.
The nursery is located in the Chinese Church on Brook Green. The building has abundant natural light and two outside areas. It has a wonderful community feel and most of the children scoot or bike to nursery or parents push their prams to school.
Supporting children with additional needs
We support all children's individual needs and work closely with external agencies and the children's parents to support children with additional needs.
We also have a private speech and language therapist coming to nursery once a week to support some children with their communication and language development.

A freshly prepared hot lunch is provided for children who stay for the full day. If 2 children or 3 children attend the nursery from the same family there is a 10 % discount on the youngest child's fees. |
