Do you have a child in year 7, 8 or 9? Looking to build your confidence in leading your child through adolescence?
This course gives parents and carers the opportunity to understand the needs of their pre-teen or teen . They will learn alongside their child who also needs to attend the course, giving them the opportunity to learn together which will allow them to form a firm foundation for further discussion at home.
They will learn about independence, money, internet and mobile phone safety, emotions and resilience in a fun and informative way.
The course takes place at Parkview centre (venue details below), every Thursday for 6 weeks. It will start on Thursday 18 April with the last session on Thursday 23 May 2024.
Each session focusses on a different topic. See below. It is best attendees take part in all sessions, but they also have the option to attend just a few.

Session 4: Thursday 9 May: How to build good relationships

Session 6: Thursday 23 May: Rights and responsibilities in society
