Transfer to secondary school 2024

Information about how to apply for a secondary school place in Hammersmith & Fulham for your child.

If your child was born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013, they should be transferring to secondary school in September 2024. 

The application process for secondary transfer opened on 1 September 2023 and closes on 31 October 2023. The national offer date is 1 March 2024.

The eAdmissions site is open for you to register your details and to make an application for a secondary place.

Offers for on-time applicants will be released on 1 March 2024 – this is the national offer day. Applicants who applied online will be notified by email through their online accounts on the evening of the national offer day. Applicants who applied on 'paper' will receive their outcome by email on 2 March 2024.

Apply for a school place

If your application is late, your child will not be considered for an offer on national offer day but will wait until second round of offers at the end of March.

Late application

The eAdmissions site is open until mid August for you to register your details and to make a late application for a secondary place in September 2024. If you have any queries about how your application will be considered, speak to the School Admissions team on 020 8753 1085.
