We may be able to offer specific legal advice to businesses, if the Business Companion guidance does not resolve your issue. Initial advice to small and medium businesses will be free, but we may have to charge a fee for complex or regular advice.
Larger companies that may want regular advice could ask us for a 'Primary Authority' partnership (Local regulation: Primary Authority - GOV.UK).
We can promise to consider the request, but whether we will comply will depend on the expertise and capacity within the team at the time of the request. If we cannot offer a partnership, we may be able to help by matching you with a trading standards team that can.
Contact trading.standards@lbhf.gov.uk for more details.
We cannot offer advice on food safety, licensing or markets and street trading. See Environmental health for information about these services.
