  • Notice of proposal to vary the Market & Street Trading Regulations for all street trading licence holders

The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham London Local Authorities Acts 1990 to 2007

Notice is hereby given as required by Section 27 (3)(4) of the London Local Authorities Acts 1990 to 2007 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) that the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) propose to vary the Market & Street Trading Regulations for all street trading licence holders.

The proposed regulations have been determined by applying the principles of Section 27 of the London Local Authorities Act 1990, wherein a borough council may apply or vary such regulations under this part of the act.

We have several operational and business reasons for this change and hope that you will be instrumental in assisting with this change to support the development and efficiency of the market and street trading service.

The proposed terms and conditions can be viewed  (add link) or a copy can be requested from the team directly by calling 020 8753 3916. The London Local Authorities Acts 1990 Section 27 sub section (3) (4) allows you the opportunity to make representations to the Council regarding these proposals within 28 days of this notice.

Designated trading pitches outside QPR, Fulham and Chelsea football stadiums’

We get a lot of enquiries from traders wishing to trade outside one of the three football stadiums in our borough. These are Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC) and Craven Cottage (Fulham FC) in Fulham, and Loftus Road (QPR FC) in Shepherds Bush.

There are limited designated pitches outside the stadiums and they are all currently occupied by regular traders. Should any pitches become available they will be advertised here on our website. Prices vary for each location.

Enquiries about new trading locations

We are not currently seeking new trading locations in the borough.

We will not be responding to enquiries regarding these matters.

Currently there are no vacancies at the Lyric square food market due to its popularity.

You can request to be added to our waiting list for all sites.
