A naming ceremony offers you a formal opportunity to welcome your child into the family.
Naming ceremonies can be used for children of any age, including adopted children or stepchildren. You can choose the content of the ceremony and anyone you expect to play an important role in the life of your child can involved.

You must bring your child's birth certificate with you when you book your ceremony.
A naming ceremony has no legal status and cannot be used to change the name of a child. We will give you a commemorative certificate at the ceremony, but this cannot be used for any legal purposes.
Fees
Certificates cost £11 each in addition to the ceremony fee.
