Fulham Cemetery

Fulham Cemetery, also known as ‘Fulham Old’ opened in 1865 and is the oldest cemetery in the borough.  The cemetery is located off Fulham Palace Road and covers nearly 13 acres in the heart of the borough.  Fulham Cemetery is now closed to new burials.

Memorials and notable graves

There are many war graves located within the cemetery including 238 Commonwealth service personnel, 179 from World War I of whom seven are commemorated by a special memorial headstone, and 57 from World War II. Those whose graves have no headstones are listed by name on a screen wall memorial in the main war graves plot.
