Fulham and Margravine Cemeteries
Also known as 'Fulham Old', this cemetery off Fulham Palace Road opened in 1865. It is our oldest cemetery and covers nearly 13 acres in the heart of the borough. If you are researching your family history, you can download a layout map to help find a particular location.

Also known as 'Hammersmith Old', this cemetery opened in 1869 and is behind Charing Cross Hospital. This cemetery covers 17 acres and there are many varieties of trees and wildflowers. You can download a layout map of the cemetery.

Cemetery opening hours
Monday to Saturday
November to January - 9am to 4pm
April and August - 9am to 7pm
February and October - 9am to 5pm
May to July - 9am to 8pm
March and September - 9am to 6pm
On Sunday the cemeteries open at 10am, with closing times as above except during public holidays. On bank and other public holidays normal opening hours will apply, except Christmas Day, when the cemeteries will be open from 10am to 3pm.
It is now possible to be buried at these two cemeteries. Graves are also available for purchase and reserve.
