Daryl Brown confirmed as Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham Council

Cllr Stephen Cowan has also been re-confirmed as Leader of the council.

Cllr Daryl Brown was inaugurated as the new Mayor

Cllr Daryl Brown was inaugurated as the new Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham Council at the H&F Annual Council and Mayor Making meeting last night (23 May). Cllr Stephen Cowan has been re-confirmed as Leader.

They take office following the local elections on 3 May, which saw 35 councillors elected for Labour and 11 for the Conservatives.

Other Cabinet and committee appointments were also confirmed at the Annual Council meeting:

  • Deputy Leader – Cllr Sue Fennimore
  • Cabinet Member for Children and Education – Cllr Larry Culhane
  • Cabinet Member for the Economy and the Arts – Cllr Andrew Jones
  • Cabinet Member for the Environment – Cllr Wesley Harcourt
  • Cabinet Member for Finance and Commercial Services – Cllr Max Schmid
  • Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care – Cllr Ben Coleman
  • Cabinet Member for Housing – Cllr Lisa Homan
  • Cabinet Member for Public Services Reform – Cllr Adam Connell
  • Cabinet Member for Strategy – Cllr Sue Macmillan
