Are you aged 18 to 24? Would you like some help getting into work or education?

If so, you can find out more about free support and training at an event next week.

Pinnacle People, backed by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, is running courses and advice sessions for young people not working or studying.

“We are determined to do everything we can to work with young people who are out of work or education to help them find the skills and experience they need to get the best start in life,” said Cllr Sue Fennimore, H&F Cabinet member for Social Inclusion.

H&F Council’s work to improve young people’s opportunities also includes being the only borough in London to scrap council tax for care leavers, introducing the borough's first-ever youth mayor, advancing local apprenticeships, and promoting hundreds of free and low-cost events for young people through the annual Summer in the City scheme.

Information and advice about the Pinnacle People will be on offer on Thursday 15 December at the Gibbs Green Tenants Hall in Dieppe Close, West Kensington.

There’s no need to book, you can just turn up to the event between 1pm and 4pm.

At the event young people can find out about:

  • Dedicated employment advisors
  • Qualifications
  • Training courses
  • Interview practice
  • CV workshops
  • Work experience
