Pay-by-phone parking comes to H&F

Paying for parking by phone will soon be available across H&F in the coming weeks.

Paying for parking by phone will soon be available across Hammersmith & Fulham in the coming weeks.

Following successful trials last year, the council will roll out telephone parking across the borough and the first sites should be live by the beginning of August.

You'll still be able to pay with cash at the machines, and you'll have extra options too.

“Residents and visitors told us how frustrating it is to get caught without cash, or to accidentally overstay. We have listened to them and our new service will bring those frustrations to an end,” said Cllr Wesley Harcourt, H&F Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Transport and Residents’ Services.

“We need to keep up with modern requirements and this improvement will make things much more convenient for residents and visitors to the borough.”

The new payment system will be rolled out across H&F on a zone-by-zone basis, beginning in zones L and M (Ravenscourt Park) and will be live across the borough by mid-November.

Residents and shoppers will be able to pay for their parking session on their mobile phones via text message, an app, or through an automated voice service.
