Learn more about adopting on Big Adoption Day

Take a step that could change your life forever and mark Big Adoption Day on Wednesday 16 March.

Take a step that could change your life forever and mark Big Adoption Day on Wednesday 16 March by attending a special adoption information event.

The event is being organised by Hammersmith & Fulham Council and runs from 10 am to noon.

You can talk with social workers to find out what support is available.

Children in council care come from diverse backgrounds and so do adopters. Potential adopters can be single, married or in a relationship, including a civil partnership or same-sex relationship, but must be at least 21 years old.

Many children waiting for adoption are part of a sibling group or are older children (over four years old) and the council is particularly interested in talking with potential adopters who may be able to offer homes to youngsters from these two groups.

The event is being held at Westminster City Hall. To register to attend, or to request an information pack, phone 0800 781 2332 or 020 8753 2303, or via email adoption@rbkc.gov.uk.
