Well-wrapped residents shrugged off the cold to watch their children play in a traffic-free road.

Galloway Road in Shepherds Bush is the second road in the borough, after nearby Roxwell Road, to hold an official ‘play street’.

Residents were granted a traffic order by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, enabling them to temporarily close their road to traffic last Sunday, for children to play games such as hopscotch, street football and hide and seek.
